Drexel University, a private research university in Philadelphia, engaged STRATUS to analyze the feasibility of creating a Drexel presence in Sacramento, beginning with a Graduate Education Center downtown. The STRATUS team conducted a study of the greater Sacramento market that included analysis of workforce needs, demographic trends, academic programs being offered by competing institutions, and other factors. The result was a list of graduate programs with the highest potential for success in Sacramento. The analysis included estimates of student enrollments, pricing structure, and a fi nancial pro forma. STRATUS also helped assess other key factors, including space needs, personnel requirements and organizational structure to launch the Drexel University Center for Graduate Studies.
