STRATUS developed a ten-year,
$400 million capital and space
plan for the University's largest
college (1 million square feet),
and subsequently managed the
planning process for the first two
facility projects. In order to realize
this plan,
STRATUS designed
and managed a planning process
that integrated student enrollment,
faculty recruitment, academic
vision, and capital budget to create
an integrated plan. Short, middle,
and long term space needs and
implementation strategies were also addressed. STRATUS prepared
project case statements to help secure the initial $80 million in state
funding for a Physical Sciences Center and Science Laboratory Center
and an additional $150 Million in state funding for College capital
improvements over the next 10 years.
