The Chancellor wanted to study the feasibility of a new community- based Legal Education Center for the university and adjacent community. STRATUS met with university, municipal and county leaders and officials to articulate a unique win-win organizational structure - one where the new Legal Education Center would be located on municipal land, in a redevelopment district, adjacent to an existing law library and regional justice center. The County provided necessary parking within an adjacent existing parking structure for space within the Legal Education Center for its family courts divisions. STRATUS also created a preliminary space program, space plan, and conceptual project budget for the Center.
